This reply is referring to the Google Calendar integration decribed on the page that this link points to: Is it possible to choose whether or not the attendees receive an invitation? The reason that I am asking is because, lets say, for example: During a meeting it is agreed that I should post content to the website that we are meeting about. This is to be done each Monday. It will take 2 hours each Monday to do this. Immediately after the meeting I would add the agreed information to their record on my Hubspot account. To ensure that I keep to schedule with this I would also add this to my calendar. However, it would not be neccessary for the client to receive an invitation to this as they would not need to book 2 hours of their time whilst I am working for them.
So, can I set a scheduled item such that the client does not have to receive an invite? So it's now Dec 2018 and Hubspot has known about this issue since Jan 2017. As someone who is currently evaluating your software, I can tell you that this doesn't make me feel very confident about Hubspot's concerns about eliminating extra work for its users. I tried going through your tech support-they were nice enough with offering to try and resolve this, but why did they go to the trouble to try and help me if they knew that this was something that needed to be 'an upgrade'? Why didn't support just tell me-'We haven't fixed this yet' rather than spend an hour on the phone remoting into my computer?
It's too bad, I like what I think Hubspot can do for us/our website, etc., but this feature is something we use EVERY DAY! If I can't get this resolved near the end of January 2019, this is a deal killer for our small business.
Feel free to reach out.
